Losing My Marbles

I recently came across a story that shifted my perspective on how I spend my time. And made me think about how I’d like to spending it.

I often mention in this blog that I think it’s important to take the time to have fun and to do the things you’ve always wanted to do. After all, you only live once, and you have no idea how long or short your life will be.

Even though that’s my focus, I’m just as guilty as the next person of overworking, being addicted to email, and creating long to-do lists that will never get completed.

That’s where this story comes in. It’s a bit like a neon flashing light saying, “It’s time to re-prioritize.”

I’d love to hear what you think!

  1. This one made me teary 🙂 Thanks so much for sharing, Julie! It’s so true. When we are gone, are the lists going to matter? Or the memories of the moments we have created while we are here? So….where’s the nearest toy store?
