#16 – go to Costa Rica to meet up with a friend who’s cycling from Yukon, Canada to the tip of South America

Yes, it’s true! I’m in Costa Rica!!

This is a trip that’s been months in the making, ever since our friend, Peter, left the Yukon last August on his 2-year cycling adventure. I’ve given updates on his travels from time to time in my other blog, Dream BIGGER and the plan was to arrive in Costa Rica at about the same time he did.

But you know how plans are…

As it turns out, he’s staying in Nicaragua for a month teaching yoga. Fortunately the two countries are side by side, so the new plan is to connect somewhere in the middle. It just adds a twist to our already exciting adventure, and gives us yet another country stamp in our passports.

I’ll post photos and stories next week once I’m back, but in the meantime, I’ll leave you with this taste of zip-lining from my trip to Costa Rica 10 years ago.

Wheeeeeee!!!!
