Kick Up Your Heels!

I’m a dancer. As a child, I took ballet. In my thirties, I tried ballroom (and loved it!) The dances were familiar to me because I’d done them for many years on the ice (I was a figure skater). And the music! I grew up listening to the tunes from the Big Band era – my parents’ favorites. The only challenge was finding a good partner.

Eventually I moved on to belly dancing and, more recently, flamenco.

But I think my heart belongs to ballroom.

So you’ll understand why I found this video so inspiring.
